When we’re out in nature, layering is important. Layering allows us to add and remove clothing so that we can respond to the weather as it changes. From lightweight base layers, to outdoor fleeces to waterproof jackets, we’ve designed a flexible wardrobe to keep you comfortable in every situation.
The adventures we have in nature come in all shapes and sizes. And nature can throw anything at us. The TERREX Adventure Wardrobe is versatile layering designed to be the perfect remedy to that - keeping you layered up, ahead of nature’s next move.
Four layers of clothing make up the wardrobe - the Base layer, Mid layer, Insulation layer and Outer layer. These are available in multiple colourways across three main sports: Trail, Hike and Snow Sports.

Every adventure starts from a solid basecamp. The base layer is worn on activities of all intensities to lock away moisture, feeling like a second skin. The mid and insulation layers are designed for lightweight, reliable warmth without restricting freedom of movement. The windproof and waterproof outer layer keeps the weather out and keeps you feeling dry.

HOW TO WEAR BASE LAYERS: TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT. BY MERINO
However you connect with nature, keeping control of your core temperature as you move towards your summit is always high priority. As part of the TERREX Adventure Wardrobe, TERREX has launched three new base layers designed for versatility on trails, hikes, slopes and beyond. Made to manage temperature and move sweat away from skin, choose from 100% merino wool base layers, or a lighter merino & tencel synthetic fibre blend. Each base layer is designed to sit comfortably on skin, so you can focus on enjoying the outdoors. Merino wool adapts to your changing body temperature, helping to keep you feeling warm when it’s cool, and cool when it’s hot.

Our lightest base layer. Designed to wick away moisture and help manage temperature, breathable blended merino wool adapts to every intensity.
MERINO 200gsm
Our midweight base layer. 100% merino, the perfect balance between moisture-wicking and thermoregulation.
MERINO 260gsm
Our heavyweight base layer. The long-sleeved 100% merino 260gsm wool design sits comfortably on skin, for warmth on the colder days.
MID LAYERS MADE FOR EVERY ADVENTURE
When you’re out in nature seeking adventure, the weather can always turn. It’s one of the main reasons why packing a flexible and lightweight layer of warmth is so essential.
As part of the 2023 TERREX Adventure Wardrobe, TERREX has launched a new range of mid layers. Made in part with recycled materials, and engineered with FLOOCE material, feel comfortable all day on trails, hikes and and on colder snow days. Every layer is lightweight too, letting your body move freely whilst providing a layer of warmth when required.

Our lightest mid layer. Made with over 90% recycled polyester, this lightweight, breathable fleece keeps you feeling warm and dry. The longer backside makes it backpack-compatible and the close fit sits comfortably under other layers.
TERREX XPERIOR MEDIUM FLEECE PULLOVER
Designed for women, this fleece is the perfect balance of lightweight and comfort. Made from 100% recycled polyester, a longer collar provides extra warmth and wind protection. A kangaroo pocket keeps hands warm and devices safe.
TERREX TECHROCK REVERSIBLE HIGH PILE FLEECE HOODED JACKET
Smooth on one side, Sherpa on the other. Meet the warmest fleece in the range. Reversible by design, wear the high-pile fleece side close to skin when heading up into the cold and the smooth side on your way back down.
INSULATION LAYERS WITH PRIMALOFT TECH
When we’re out in the great outdoors in search of summits, sometimes, especially on the colder days, an extra layer of warmth becomes essential. Made from 100% recycled materials, and ready for any outing, meet our insulation layers for 2023.
A key component of the TERREX Adventure Wardrobe, insulation layers are worn over the mid layer. PRIMALOFT Gold technology maintains 98% of its warmth with the stretch and breathability to perform, even when in wet conditions. When the weather closes in, on it goes. When the weather improves, it packs down into a rucksack quickly and easily.

Lightweight, packable jacket made with recycled materials and PRIMALOFT Gold insulation. The adjustable hem enables a perfect fit to your body and the hood provides wind protection.

Down-like warmth meets freedom of movement, even on the coldest of days. The elasticated cuffs allow it to fit snugly under your outer shell. With a pack-it pocket, fold it away neatly when not in use.

TOUGH IN TOUGH WEATHER: THE OUTER LAYER
Let’s face it, sometimes we set foot into the great outdoors knowing the weather that day will be challenging. Even the clearest of starts to a day can, in what seems like moments, turn into sharp and fast winds, horizontal rain, monsoon-like downpours and driving snow.
That’s why an outer layer is so important to either wear when you set off or keep close to hand in your rucksack. The final layer in the TERREX Adventure Wardrobe, the outer layer is designed to protect you from wind, rain and snow across Trail, Hike and Snow Sports.
There’s a whole range of jackets designed to meet your outdoor needs. Be fully waterproof with GORE-TEX or rain-resistant with RAIN.RDY protection. When you’re on the trails, keep the winds at bay in a shell that’s wind-resistant but breathable too, so moisture and heat can escape naturally, stopping you from overheating.
And for head-to-toe protection in the snow, the TERREX TECHROCK 3L GTX Bib Pants keep you feeling dry.

Windweave fabric is body-mapped, allowing breathability away from your body and protects you from wind while you move freely on your trail.
