Men Trousers Frequently Asked Questions
Four measurements are important when it comes to men's pants, ‘Waist' is usually measured around the belly button, or wherever you normally wear your trousers. ‘Hip' is the widest area around the buttocks, while the inside leg is measured from the crotch to the ankle bone. ‘Outside leg' is measured from the top of the waistband to the hem.
First, check the label to determine whether the trousers can be ironed. Then lay the trousers flat on an ironing board and when the iron is at the right temperature, guide it over each area of the trousers until all creases are removed.
It can vary according to individual style, but a good guide is that your trousers should finish around the top of your shoes.
