Velcro fasteners, also known as hook-and-loop fasteners, have two sides – one with mini hooks and the other with loops. When these are pushed together, the hooks latch onto the loops, forming a secure connection that closes the trainer. When it’s time to take it off, a pulling force removes the hooks from their corresponding loops, so loosening the trainer.
